Sometimes all you need for a completely personalized bat mitzvah theme is to look no further than the name of the guest of honor.
At Bailey’s chic and fun New York bat mitzvah, her nickname “B” inspired the party theme. Event planner Melisa Imberman of The Event of a Lifetime worked with the family to come up with the best words to describe her. Phrases such as “B Compassionate” “B Silly” and “B Musical” became the basis for much of the day’s decor.
These words gave guests a glimpse into Bailey’s unique personality, and were included on cocktail napkins, a mural, and a step and repeat.
The family’s last name is Goodman, which The Event of a Lifetime incorporated into a “B Good” logo. The logo was featured throughout the party, including a prominent placement as an oversized dance floor decal.
Centerpieces and Decor
The party incorporated chic details, including two different centerpieces that incorporated Bailey’s logo.
Silver vinyl linens were complimented by blue and neon green place settings.
Party Lounge
Bailey and her friends could chill in the VIP lounge, complete with her logos on the pillows and illuminated tables.
Party Details
Bailey loves candy, so The Event of a Lifetime made sure to include cotton candy cocktails and Dot Candy napkin rings at the event.
Entertainment
There was no shortage of entertainment at this fun event. Activities included:
o a scratch DJ
o a magician that memorized everyone’s name
o a cool new hi tech version of Green Screen photos where guests can print or post their pics
o a Hipstapatch station created especially for this party
o a custom Geofilter so any pic posted during the duration of the party would have her logo on them
Cake & Favors
The four tier cake featured the bat mitzvah logo and colors.
Bailey’s favor was a hooded sweatshirt with both her logos in a metallic silver drawstring backpack.
As the guests said goodbye, they got a black & white style cookie that was turquoise & lime as well as a water bottle with a custom label saying “GOOD to go!”
To top it all off, the party featured a video of John Legend congratulating Bailey.
We love all of the personalized details of this fun and fabulous bat mitzvah party! Thank you to Melisa Imberman of The Event of a Lifetime for sharing, and Mazel Tov to Bailey and her family!
